Established over 53 years ago, C&M Fire Alarms relocated to our Horsham premises nearly 50 years ago. Over the decades, we have built a strong presence throughout Sussex, not only by partnering with other local businesses but also by supporting community initiatives, charities, and sports clubs. Here, we highlight some of these valuable relationships.
Van Signage and Uniform: Working with BEL Signs and AppliedFX
A long-standing business in Horsham, BEL Signs, along with its sister company AppliedFX, provides our van signage and embroidered clothing. BEL Signs expertly brands our fleet of vehicles, which range from small Ford Connects to large Mercedes vans. Our engineers cover a vast area across the Southeast, including London and the Isle of Wight. The visibility and branding of our vans are crucial, and we proudly display our accreditations and membership logos along with our signature red panels.
Similarly, our embroidered uniforms ensure that our engineers are easily identifiable on-site, giving customers peace of mind and reassurance. Many of our uniforms include high-visibility safety wear, essential for engineers working on railways or construction sites. AppliedFX has skilfully recreated our logo in thread and offers a wide selection of clothing items for us to choose from.
Supporting Horsham Matters: Community and Charity Initiatives
Horsham Matters plays a vital role in the local community by operating a food bank and supporting residents in poverty. Earlier this year, they launched a new campaign called ‘Tintastic.’ For several weeks, businesses and individuals collected tinned foods and then recreated their logos with the collected tins. These tins were subsequently donated to Horsham Matters’ food bank to aid those in need. C&M Fire Alarms proudly contributed over 40 tins and participated in creating part of the logo. Additionally, in June, we will sponsor a golf hole at the Golf Charity Day at Slinfold Golf Club. This event, featuring 18 holes of golf, aims to raise funds for Horsham Matters.
Sponsoring Local Sports Clubs: Roffey Robins and Horsham YMCA
We are committed to supporting local sports clubs, including the Roffey Robins Under 10s girls’ football team. Managed by Paul Castleton, who also serves as the vice chairman of the club, Roffey Robins collaborates with Roffey FC to provide a pathway program to the senior side, nurturing young football talents.
Additionally, we sponsor the Horsham YMCA U23 football kit. The first team manager uses the U23 side to evaluate new signings, maintain squad players’ match fitness, and facilitate the return of players from injuries or suspensions.
