Our commitment to sustainability starts with our team. Living and working in Horsham, many of our staff walk to our offices at the City Business Centre, significantly reducing our carbon footprint. Remote work options further lessen the need for commuting, showcasing our dedication to eco-friendly practices.
Green Fleet and Local Sourcing
Recognising the impact of our service vehicles, we’ve invested in more economical and eco-friendly Mercedes vehicles, with possible future plans to transition to electric vehicles (EVs). Supporting local businesses is another pillar of our sustainability approach. We source our workwear and safety wear from a local embroidery company and utilise a local signwriting firm for our vehicle graphics and stickers.
Partnering for Carbon Reduction
Our journey towards carbon reduction is supported by Franklin Lawson Associates, a local Sussex-based advisor. Together, we’re implementing policies to lower our carbon emissions, beginning with an evaluation of our energy use and exploring renewable energy options. We’re also focusing on making our office environment more energy-efficient by installing solar film on our windows. We aim to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and transition to greener energy suppliers. To streamline our operations and reduce paper waste, our engineers use tablets and smart technology. This not only enhances communication and efficiency but also aligns with our sustainability goals by minimising resource usage.
